Eye Exams in Washington, DC and Fort Washington, MD
An eye exam should help you see clearly and understand your eye health with confidence. Eycon combines careful examination, advanced technology, and clear explanations in a visit designed around your vision, health, and lifestyle.
What Makes our Eye Exam Different
Your eye exam should do more than determine a prescription. It should explain how your eyes are functioning, connect findings to your symptoms and lifestyle, identify concerns, and give you a clear plan for what comes next.

Wellness Screening
A deeper look today.
A stronger baseline for tomorrow.
Your eyes can appear healthy while subtle changes develop beneath the surface. This optional* screening combines two advanced technologies to document your retinal health and visual function, helping us identify and monitor changes over time.
* The Wellness Screening is an optional service and is not billed to insurance.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE EYCON WELLNESS SCREENING
Optical Coherence Tomography
OCT is a non-invasive imaging test that captures detailed, cross-sectional images of the retina, helping identify and monitor structural changes associated with glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other retinal conditions.
VR-Based Visual Field Testing
Modern VR-based technology maps your central and peripheral vision, helping identify visual-field patterns associated with glaucoma, retinal disease, and certain neurological conditions.
Why Comprehensive Eye Exams Matter
Some eye diseases can develop before you notice obvious symptoms. Regular comprehensive exams help identify prescription changes and monitor for concerns such as glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disease, diabetic eye changes, and other conditions that may affect long-term vision.
